With the Presidents’ Day today, it’s that time of the year when we honor the founding fathers of our great country.

To commemorate the birth of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, the leading architects of the United States of America, the third Monday of every February is celebrated as a tribute to their unmatched service to the nation.

And in this year it happens to be today, 18th of February.

The Presidents’ Day was formerly known as the Washington Day- which denoted the celebration of George Washington’s birthday (which is on February 22nd).

However, many states differ in their interpretation of the day. And observe it in the honor of all the past Presidents’ of the United States till now.
